65+ PS5, PS4 Games to Buy in PS Store's Updated Multiverse of Games Sale (2025)

Lost Judgment (PS5)

$11.99/£9.99 (-80%)

A sequel to superb detective thriller Judgment, Lost Judgment doesn't quite hit the dizzying highs of its predecessor in terms of storytelling and character development, but it's still a great action RPG. Packed with intense plot twists and carried by an excellent cast, Lost Judgment is a typical Yakuza-style thrill ride — but it's actually the ridiculous amount of impressively varied side content that drives Yagami's sophomore case. An expanded, satisfying combat system is worthy of note as well.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS5)

$19.99/£24.99 (-60%/-50%)

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales may be shorter than its immediate predecessor, a spin-off if you like, but it’s lacking none of the character of its older, bigger brother. While Marvel’s Spider-Man did away with origin story clichés, Miles Morales is much more of a coming of age tale, as it sees the eponymous star coming to terms with his new-found powers. This is a deeply personal plot that adds depth to Insomniac Games’ wider Spider-Man universe, and it comes with some smart new gameplay wrinkles that make it a blast to play. Instant loading and sumptuous visuals are merely the frosting on the top of this wintery open world treat, which will leave you lusting after Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 (PS5)

$10.49/£9.99 (-85%)

There aren't really any platform fighters that can go toe-to-toe with Nintendo's Super Smash Bros., but Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is a better effort than you might think. Featuring many popular characters from Nicktoons new and old, this is a basic but fun fighting game with some fun modes and a varied roster. A roguelike-style campaign changes things up, while you can always battle online to find out who the true Reptar is.

Olija (PS4)

$2.99/£2.39 (-80%)

Olija is a hidden indie gem that's well worth a look for those looking for fun side-scrolling action. Stranded in an unfamiliar country after a shipwreck, you're armed with a powerful harpoon used for traversal as well as combat. While fights are fairly straightforward, there's a lot to like here, with simple puzzles, a world that gradually opens up, and a hub you'll slowly upgrade throughout the story.

Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game (PS4)

$7.99/£6.99 (-80%)

In an era where arcade titles are few and far between, Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game serves as a reminder that SEGA is still the champion of effervescent sports games. A varied selection of events, each with their own addictive gameplay mechanics, makes for an entertaining package with plenty to see and do. Pair this with a vibrant artstyle and some decent online options, and you’ve got the gold standard in athletics right here.

Othercide (PS4)

$5.99/£4.99 (-80%)

While they share plenty of the same DNA, Othercide is much more than simply XCOM in eyeliner. Sacrificing warriors to boost the stats of other units proves a compelling and flexible mechanic, while the combat encounters ramp up in difficulty at mostly the right pace. A stunning aesthetic and perfectly complementary soundtrack are the icing on the cake, only occasionally marred by unfortunate technical difficulties.

Pac-Man 256 (PS4)

$1.99/£1.59 (-60%)

Free from the shackles of micro-transactions and limited credits on mobile, the console version of Pac-Man 256 is a fresh and expertly executed blend of the iconic coin-op game and the endless runner genre. The simple presentation and controls allow anyone to pick up a controller and know what to do, while the addition of power-ups and objectives provide a little more depth for die-hard fans to explore.

Pac-Man Museum+ (PS4)

$9.99/£7.99 (-50%)

Ignore all the Ms. Pac-Man legal issues – awkward! – and it’s hard to imagine Pac-Man Museum+ being much more comprehensive than it is. There are absentees, of course – long-time power pill poppers may lament the lack of, say, Pac-Man World from the PS1 – but across 14 titles, you’re effectively getting the career highlights (and lowlights) of Bandai Namco’s yellow blob. It undoubtedly gives you a flavour for Pac-Man’s storied career – and between the ups-and-downs, there’s plenty to chew on.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac (PS5)

$5.99/£6.99 (-80%)

Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a modern remake of the classic PS1 platformer. Placing Namco's iconic character into a three-dimensional adventure, the game is packed with charm thanks to its simple but satisfying platforming and some inventive bosses. If you're looking for a platformer with old school design and contemporary visuals, this should serve you nicely.

Persona 3 Reload (PS5)

$34.99/£29.99 (-50%)

As far as faithful remakes go, Persona 3 Reload is right up there with the best you'll find on PlayStation. The original Persona 3 is an undeniable classic, but Reload greatly improves the experience by modernising its turn-based combat and expanding its storytelling. What's more, it's an utterly gorgeous revival, boasting incredible art direction and some of the most stunning presentation you're ever likely to see in an RPG. A must for existing fans, and for newcomers, a perfect introduction to the Dark Hour.

Persona 5 (PS4)

$7.99/£7.49 (-60%/-85%)

Persona 5 is the game responsible for catapulting Atlus' role-playing series into mainstream success. Unparalleled in terms of style, it's a landmark RPG that perfectly fuses its various gameplay elements together. It's worth noting, however, that the original Persona 5 has been made pretty much redundant by Persona 5 Royal — a greatly enhanced re-release that turns an already superb title into a true masterpiece.

Persona 5 Strikers (PS4)

$17.99/£16.49 (-70%)

Persona 5 Strikers is a fantastic follow up to a beloved JRPG, carving out its own identity with an excellent action-based combat system. It presents the perfect excuse to hang out with the Phantom Thieves one last time, and does a great job of building upon the established characters and themes of its predecessor. While we doubt that Strikers will be remembered anywhere near as fondly as Persona 5, the game goes beyond expectations to provide a classy companion piece. A must-buy for existing fans.

Promise Mascot Agency (PS5)

$19.99/£15.99 (-20%)

Promise Mascot Agency is an open world exploration game with management sim elements that tells a crime drama story in a universe where mascots are sentient beings. It's not your typical elevator pitch, but it all comes together very well indeed. Gradually upgrading the town, recruiting new mascots, and progressing through the engrossing story is all seriously compelling. It's a truly unique game that's spinning a lot of plates, but somehow does it all with style.

Road 96 (PS5)

$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)

At the height of an intense, fictional presidential election, Road 96 is about both escape and discovery. Procedurally generated scenarios dictate your objective to leave the country by crossing its northern border, but the characters you meet along the way make those journeys fruitful ones. While repetition does start to creep in, Road 96 is a political trip worth taking.

Rock of Ages II: Bigger and Boulder (PS4)

$2.99/£2.31 (-80%)

Rock of Ages II: Bigger and Boulder is a fun title that just about pulls off its strange cocktail of genres. The Monty Python-like presentation is executed well and suits the game’s off-the-wall appeal, and its trio of modes and online or offline multiplayer give the game some legs beyond the story. Moreover, the gameplay offers a lot of potential for daft fun despite some sluggish boulder controls and frustrating AI balance issues. If you’re after something different, or enjoy some cathartic destruction in your games, you’ll have a ball.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition (PS4)

$4.94/£3.95 (-67%)

With the base game packaged in with its two pieces of DLC, the Complete Edition of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is one of the best 2D brawlers around — especially when it's adapting such a beloved film. You'll get lost in the thoroughly enjoyable beat 'em up gameplay, and quickly learn to appreciate its stellar graphics and soundtrack.

Sea of Stars (PS5)

$22.74/£18.84 (-35%)

Set in the same universe as The Messenger, Sea of Stars is a similarly retro-styled title with some fresh twists. This is a turn-based RPG about a pair of warriors travelling the world as they warm up to their supernatural powers and thwart some evildoers along the way. The combat is strategic and rewarding to master, and there's a great cast of characters you'll love by the end, including the bad guys. Gorgeous presentation and a twisting story tie it all together.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments (PS4)

$3.19/£2.63 (-92%)

You’ll feel like you’re playing as a psychopath at points in Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments — but that’s part of what sets this adaptation of the iconic character apart. The star’s incredible intelligence is married with an almost perverse lust for murder, and the moral aspects suggest that it’s not necessarily justice the protagonist seeks. It’s a bit of a shame, then, that these themes aren’t pushed even further during the course of the campaign, but it’s hard to complain about the content that is on offer. With six varied cases and some challenging crimes to unravel, this title will definitely test your powers of deduction – and as a consequence, it’s entertaining when you commit to the right conclusion.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance (PS5)

$32.99/£30.24 (-45%)

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is the definitive way to play Atlus' devilish game of demon fusion, with a new suite of bells and whistles to smooth over what can, at times, still be an abrasive gameplay experience. It's incredibly combat-heavy, which can become oppressive, but working towards raising that perfect demon remains as engaging as ever.

Shu (PS4)

$1.49/£1.10 (-85%)

Shu is a decent 2D platformer that puts gameplay first, and in stripping away needless distractions provides a refreshing and pleasant few hours of fun. The art style and soundtrack are pretty good, giving way to some lovely sights and sounds on your journey, while the ever-changing set of abilities ensures the game is able to provide new challenges throughout.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (PS4)

$4.49/£3.74 (-85%)

Many would say that Sleeping Dogs is underrated — and we'd probably agree. This arcade-y romp into the criminal underbelly of Hong Kong is a banger from start to finish, and while it never quite reaches the open world highs of something like Grand Theft Auto, punchy storytelling and memorable missions make for an overlooked action sandbox. Throw some satisfyingly chunky combat into the mix, and you've got a damn good time.

Sonic Mania (PS4)

$7.99/£6.39 (-60%)

After years of divisive 3D games, SEGA partnered with indie developers — and true fans of Sonic — to revert back to the hedgehog's glory days. Sonic Mania is a combination of classic zones and brand new ones, celebrating his 2D era in one of his strongest outings ever. The classic gameplay is back and better than before with the drop dash ability, and there's multiplayer and Blue Spheres stages to enjoy too. A seriously well-rounded game that old school Sonic fans will adore.
